Google Gifts the Internet Marketing World

I see so much money being made online by folks that beguile the new marketer that is uninformed that at times it makes me downright sick. Google is a big business now - it has come a long way since jumping into the fray just a few short years ago. I have had good success using their tools, and they have helped me in the pursuit of an online income. I firmly beleive that because they have such a large marketing share, that using their tools is just good business. I came to this conclusion while working with my son on setting up his tropical fish business.
Nick can’t sit in one place for very long, and is always on the go. We went into business last year with the hopes of raising some high dollar tropical fish, and set up a blog for him to help share his knowledge with and get him introduced to marketing on the web. The blog was set up on Blogger, owned by Big G, and he made all of about two entries in the thing before moving on to something else. That didn’t surprise me - what did was checking on the blog about a year later and seeing that it had reached a PR3. With two entries. I had to think it is because it is on a site owned by G. Maybe not, but what are the chnaces of that? (I see that it has since been deindexed).
Now G has Google Analytics. G bought out Urchin, the tracking company that has been so useful to a lot of marketers. If you have a Google account, then check out this analytic script. It is free, very easy to install, and like everything else Google does, works. I installed it on this site in all of about 5 minutes, and the reports it is generating are flawless.
