On Wordpress, Blogging, Plugins & Frustrations Galore

I have finally finished getting my latest project blog set up. Although today is a holiday, I spent an excruciating 6 hours today uploading moded pages and plugins one by one to find out what the hell was causing Ajax to hang on my blog. I found out that the culprit was 2 plugins - no-www and Subscribe2. No-www killed Ajax for some reason, and Subscribe2 returned a fatal PHP error. Outside of that, I am a happy camper…
I couldn’t have done this without the help of Dane Morgan. He is fast becoming my WP guru. Although his teaching methods are a bit hard for me to follow, the guy knows his stuff. He is very technically inclined,. and I think he dwells on the technical aspect a bit more than he should. I think his reasoning is to leave nothing to chance. However, being a bit technically challenged on such things as PHP, I find it tough to focus on what he is trying to impart. And man, is that dude tenacious…
Dane is serious about WP. He has started a new blog that I am very interested in, called Blog Strokes. I think it will be heavy on theory, and will help a lot of people that are struggling - myself included. Check out this blog, and give Dane some support…
He has also begun a Bumpzee community which I promptly joined in WordPress design. This cat is gonna rule the friggin’ world if he keeps it up.
It has been a frustrating but rewarding week. I have just returned from two weeks in Indiana, visiting my son and his lovely wife. We had some good times, and I got away from internet marketing for a few days. Did me good. Now it is sameo, sameo,,,
Peace,
Charlie~

Hey Charlie,
Thanks for the mention and the kind words. Don’t know if I want the world ruling job, but a small island somewhere….
